Mizzou wins 34-27 against Memphis in St. Louis thanks to Brady Cook and Luther Burden III

It was an accidental homage, but Mizzou quarterback Brady Cook — a St. Louis native — threw a stunning arch of a pass while standing, more or less, 3,140 feet from the actual Arch.

On Mizzou’s third play of Saturday’s home game — played at The Dome at America’s Center — Cook’s parabolic pass to Marquis Johnson for 76 yards gave Mizzou its first touchdown.

And for much of the night, Cook cooked.

In the Missouri Tigers’ 34-27 win against the Memphis Tigers, the redheaded former Red Devil from Chaminade was 18-for-25 for 341 yards and two touchdowns.
